Miss Birdsong is letting folks know she's still around ya'll HELLO TO ALL MY DEAR FRIENDS HERE ON 'MYSPACE' (OLD AND NEW).
THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO STAY CLOSE TO YOU AND I REALLY DO APPRECIATE THE GUYS RESPONSIBLE FOR MY PAGE HERE. TO PIDGET FOR SETTING IT UP INITIALLY, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH, AND TO JIM, MY LONG TERM DEAR FRIEND OF OVER FORTY YEARS, AND TO MICHELLE FOR HER WONDERFUL CONTRIBUTION TOO. THERE ARE PHOTOS ON HERE THAT EVEN I HAVEN'T SEEN BEFORE.
I KNOW I HAVE BEEN OUT OF THE SPOTLIGHT FOR QUITE A FEW YEARS.'THE SUPREME' WITH NO WORK! I GUESS! BUT I AM DOING ALRIGHT! I AM VERY EXCITED ABOUT MY FORTHCOMING BOOK AND WE ARE GETTING CLOSER AND CLOSER TO IT'S RELEASE, SO PLEASE WATCH THIS SPACE.
I AM STILL VERY MUCH INVOLVED IN MY MINISTRY TOO.
I SPEAK WITH DIANA AND MARY FROM TIME TO TIME AND THERE HAS BEEN SOME TALK OF A POSSIBLE FORTHCOMING EVENT INVOLVING THE THREE OF US.
I STAY CLOSE WITH MY SISTER, SCHERRIE PAYNE, WHO IS PERFORMING ALL OVER THE WORLD WITH THE FLOS. THAT GROUP ARE THE TOPS! AND THEY RECENTLY PRESENTED ME WITH AN AWARD AT THE '20TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW' IN LOS ANGELES. WHAT AN HONOR!
I THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT AND WISH YOU THE VERY BEST OF EVERYTHING FOR THE COMING YEAR. GOD BLESS YOU.
CINDY.

First off it's great to know her book is still forthcoming and that she's recieved some kind of honor from fellow group mates...but let's just hope that any future event with herself, Diana and Mary doesn't end up like that M25 fiasco!

These ladies are old enough to forget about that crap from eight years ago, least I hope.

IMO any future event would mean they have come full circle. Especially seeing as a lot of people never thought it would even be discussed.

It is something to see Cindy refer to herself as the one with no work but any performance with Dilema and Mary is the closest their fans will ever get to the real thing

I have a feeling that they will go for it this time...the only thing is that Mary and Diana in particular will need to sort any problems out face to face this time around...

It would be something to see. But I think as we grow older all of the things that we go through, with friends as close as they were (Mary and Diana) at some point, you have to get back where you started. I know they've all done a lot of things they regret, but there's no turning back time, you have to forgive and ask for forgiveness and see where it leads. Granted all have to be on the same page, remembering we've all done things we shouldn't have or should have thought better of Mary, Diana, Cindy [Supremes and Bluebelle] and even Flo (RIP). None of them were or are perfect, and that's where our beauty lies as people. All different, all flawed with our own assets. And all of them have performing in them, it's what brought them all where they are- let's get back to that. Notice I said performing and not singing

And Diana reportedly is STILL acting the fool. Y'all heard about her performance in Jamaica? I did and it seems to me as if she is stuck in 1968. You would expect a woman of her age to know better, but seeing as she has always been a spoiled Diva I guess she has now learned the hard way.
