What is your favorite recording by the True Queen of Motown?? We all know that 'My Guy' was her biggest selling single, but which one of her songs do you personally feel is best and displays her amazing talent unlike all the others??

I placed my vote for "Two Lovers"; I think it's the change of vocal range within the song. She really shines on that one, I think

I voted for I Only Have Eyes For You. Mary's voice is one of the best I have ever heard and this song is a masterpiece in my opinion

I picked Two Lovers because I like the whole laid back vibe she's got going on and the song has very clever lyrics

I'm into her version of What Love Has Joined Together :woo:
I don't care much for the Miracles version, but I LOVE the Tempts' version
Mary sounds great on this song :singing:

i have 2 songs i like "you beat me to the punch" , and "what love has joined together". on those versions, mary sounds sweet and kind of angelic, but the temptations version of both songs i also like because paul and eddie are both fun and exciting on the "sing smokey album". so in general, i would say both versions are classics ;D

There have been so many wonderful songs recorded by Mary. I am torn between Your Old Standby, What's Easy for Two Is so Hard for One, and Old Love.

Check out Mary's version of I Feel For You and old Prince recording. Other songs that were never release are Make Up, Break Up- a slow song and Cancel My Subscription. Both songs showcase her efforts singing slow Ballards. Both songs are hot!!!!
