Music LAUNCH Radio Networks The Associated Press reports that Stevie Wonder has arranged to pay for the funerals of five children who were recently died in a Philadelphia city row house fire. The fire, which took place on June 12 in Philly's Kensington neighborhood, killed three young sisters and two of their cousins. The children's mother and boyfriend escaped the fire by jumping out of their second-story window. Investigators are still trying to determine what started the fire. Wonder's publicist, Ira Tucker, explained that after hearing about the fire, a heartbroken Wonder immediately stepped in to help the family, saying, "I don't think Stevie has ever done anything like this before. It's just good that something can be lifted from them." He added: "Stevie feels good about this. It's been just a heart-wrenching thing." While in the city next month, Wonder plans on visiting the young girls' relatives. Wonder's next two performances are both scheduled for next month in Philadelphia. On July 2nd he'll play outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art for the U.S. Live 8 concert. On July 4, he joins Patti LaBelle and others at Elton John's Philadelphia Freedom Concert, also outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art, to benefit HIV/AIDS programs and services. His long-delayed new CD, A Time 2 Love, is due later this month. music.yahoo.com/read/news/20650359
