Is Di going for a writer's credit The song was big with the club kids, I think they're called. "Meadow" from the Sopranos sounded pretty good covering this one for Levi's. But it had nothing on Kelly Price's cover for the sample on Mo' Money Mo' Problems (these children still love Biggie Smalls!) That's how the song should have been done period Well Kelly's vocals, nevermind the rapping And Di's version was a campaign for something, it escapes me at this hour; the production was a lot better than her previous solo outings. I listened to it a few times, before the vocals got to me and started grating my nerves and ears

The instrumental's FONKY! I didn't even know Diane did that song until I bought the Motown 40 CD. When I got it and I had seen the credits that Diane had sung this song Biggie covered and then I heard the song... her vocals ARE irritating. But I have to say production wise, it's the best song Diane has EVER DONE! And who the h*ll she thinks saying she should've gotten a writing credit? Trick couldn't even write a DECENT song during the RCA Years to save her life. You guys heard that crappy "Work That Body" ish... or how about "Mirror, Mirror"... it's clear most of Diane's music with the exceptions of "Love Hangover" (the instrumental), "I'm Coming Out" (the instrumental), "Upside Down" (the instrumental) and "Missing You" (because it's supposedly about MARVIN and Lionel produced the h*ll out of it) SUCKED!

((T84)) how come all the instrumentals are hot?! Lawd that ain't right  and ((Funksis)) the B.I.G version did let Kelly give it some flava .... but the thing about this particular snippet and how the song came about is really nothing deep or very interesting :idunno:
