Hey, guys, I was wondering if you guys got the MP3 to Marvin's 1972 ballad "Piece of Clay" courtesy from YouSendIt.com and taken from Marvin's marvelous box set, "The Master: 1961-1984"? I'm sure y'all heard of the song. It's like a mixture of hard rock (the guitar), soul & gospel all in one, yaknowhatimean? ;D Holla if y'all do.

Do we have a problem with rapidshare :suspect: I mean does it have to be through 'you send it' I thought rapidshare worked good, guess it's back to the drawing board :mygosh: And let me check for the song while I'm at it ;d

And sometimes when I download it without that support, I only get 5% of the song so that's why. But good luck if you can find it.

Yeah, I believe so. They have a guitar on in the beginning with an organ solo. The guitar comes back in and out sometimes and then it rips through in the end while Marvin sings "everybody wants somebody to be their own piece of clay" ad-libbing and stuff, ya know?

The things you find buried, hidden, and unrealeased I haven't listened to the box set in years, prefer the lps. But here you all are, one of Marvin's most powerful previously-unreleased songs. Piece of Clay

I heard a little bit of that song from his "Legends" documentary, that's mainly why I asked for it initially when I did have it and I had to have it again. It's also on the soundtrack to the 1996 John Travolta flick, "Phenomenon". It's what I called rock & soul...with a gospel text!
