Been thinking about this for a minute, seeing as there were quite a few collaborations between Motown artists can any of you think of who may have been a good match with Brenda The main Ladies got to sing with Marvin and Brenda version of Can I where done by Jimmy and Eddie when he went solo, not forgetting You've Made Me So Very Happy was done over by the Tempts as well, so are there any songs or guys in particular anybody has in mind?

Eddie and Brenda singing "Can I" together would be orgasmic, *cough*, to say the least.

I dunno, maybe Brenda and Marvin would've been better on "When I'm Gone".

You're trying to say their vocals were too similar? Because Brenda does sing differently than Mary, Tammi, Kim and Diana.

I'm saying I think their voices are a great fit...I just can't think of a duet between her and Marvin

The male artist that comes to mind is the "Silky Soul Singer",Marvin Gaye and Eddie Kendricks. I have to agree with you on Marvin. Brenda's voice is soft but powerful and although Marvin's voice could be smooth, he could also push and sound a little rough. I think their voices would really complement each other. In regards to song choice I would choose Sad Wedding from the United LP
