The most we can do is pray for them It does make one curious though about any money Anna made with the company. It seems as if certain monies are only being recieved by specific parties.

This is way too sad and I don't think selling the house is the only option ((Kay)), it just happens to be the most obvious one ...hard to believe she doesn't have any money

I'm beginning to think Anna was loaned the money. I remember reading the liner notes of Here, My Dear and David said he interviewed Anna at, guess who's house: Berry Gordy's house!I began to wonder did she even have her own house with her own money? She probably didn't get royalties for co-writing "Baby I'm For Real" and "The Bells" with Marvin either.

Yeah there is something quite 'off' about the situation...royalties or not Anna was a legit worker at the company for years on end so how come she doesn't have her own home ??...It's possible she may have squandered anything she did make but I just don't believe that...Anna always seemed to be a good business woman to me...

This is such a sad story. I wonder what's really happening too. Both of the people should have some money, one from working and the other from his father's estate. It's really sad to read a story like this. I hope Marv III is able and capable to care for his mother. At least she'll be with someone who knows her even if she can't remember him.

A few ?'s Who are these trustees Didn't Marvin and Anna get divorced Well, dementia doesn't mean she doesn't remember her son, but she's probably missing significant parts of her memory, but why can't someone care for her in her home or their home

Hmm, those questions ponder me too, (((4ever))) but from how things are, we'll never truly know. I mean both Anna and Janis are not actually Marvin's widows and they weren't part of his will (basically because he was in debt at the time of his death). But I'm sure his estate got trustees from Anna's company or whatever.
