I had gone through my record collection and I found four great LP's from the Motown TV specials. One them was from a TV special entitled "TCB" featuring Diana Ross & the Supremes with the Temptations. That special was produced by Berry Gordy own production company Motown Productions and George Schalatter-Ed Friendly Productions, the company that brought you "Laugh-In". The second album was from another TV special entitled "On Broadway" with the Supremes and Temptations together in a special salute to Broadway. That was in 1969. There are other specials back in the late 60's. One was "The Temptations Show" with Kaye Stevens & George Kirby. That was not a Motown Production. It was made by Screen Gems (Sony Pictures owns the studio name) and finally a one-time TV special "Diana!" with Diana Ross with guest Bill Cosby, Danny Thomas and special musical guest, the Jackson 5. All of the 4 Motown TV specials aired once on TV . It was never been forgotten. Any thoughts?
