I've only started getting into the Marvels within the last few 8 months or so and with lineup two I'm not really 100% sure of who sang on the songs. Was Georgianna still recording with them for a while after she left??

Does the biography happen to say exactly what Georgianna and Juanita's last songs were by any chance??

Here is what I could find- "Wyanetta ended her career as a performer in the late spring of 1962, although she did continue to record as a Marvelette until the beginning of 1963.Wyanetta's name was professionally, Juanita. The album with her last recordings is The Marvelous Marvelettes, released in February of 1963. "Shortly, after the run of 'Too Many Fish In The Sea,' Georgeanna was forced to step down."Since the Marvelettes hadn't had a studio album released until March of 1967, The Marvelettes, her last recording appears to have been, 'A Need For Love', released as the flip of "Too Many Fish In The Sea". She also recorded on the Marvelettes on Stage, Recorded Live, released in July of 1963. Both Juanita and Georgeanna had previously recorded on some of the songs included on Greatest Hits released in February of 1966. Juanita did not record on "As Long As I Know He's Mine", "You're My Remedy" and "Too Many Fish In The Sea" which were later single-only releases until this album. And niether she, nor Georgeanna recorded on " Danger, Heartbreak Dead Ahead" and "Don't Mess With Bill" both recorded as single-only apparently further into 1965. It's a little invlolved, their history, we'll dig into more Has anyone else read their excellent biography

They really were a great group and sorta remind me of the Temptations in the sense that they had more than one lead singer :justlisten:
