I am hoping that epic will package a special set of Mary's recordings with Epic-In And Out of Love, and Easy Touch, and tracks from Warner Brothers.
Have you heard her sing If You Can't Give Her Love, Give Her Up produced by Bobby Womack?

I don't know if it has anything to do with being a fan of Ms. Wells but I have to put her at #2 behind Tammi as Marvin's favorite duet partner now:
1.) Tammi 2.) Mary 3.) Kim 4.) Diana
Mary had that sultry and sassy coo/comeback for Marvin. Particularly every other female Motown artist followed Mary's lead.

My favorite track from In and Out of Love besides "Gigolo", of course, is "You Make Me Feel So Good Inside", which proved Mary could compete with the younger R&B chicks of that era. It's unfortunate Epic never really promoted her right. She was only 38 but I guess she was the equivalent to Toni Braxton at the time I guess, an artist that burned bright in their 20s only to lose commercial steam as they got older.
