I found this great clip from "The Carol Burnett Show" from back in 1975 where the Jackson 5 singing a medley of songs from Mills Brothers, The Andrews Sisters, The Coasters, and the Supremes. And then it ends with their big hit "Dancin' Machine". That segment was not shown in syndication under the name "Carol Burnett & Friends". It features a young Janet Jackson. After that, the ending of the show where Carol Burnett sings her theme song and then the credits. Again, that was also not shown on "Carol Burnett & Friends" in syndication. WNEW-TV in New York City and other stations elsewhere used to air reruns of "Carol Burnett & Friends" with just a collection of sketches and no musical segments on that show. The end credits for the CBS version was on that clip with just Carol Burnett, Harvey Korman and the Jackson 5, the syndication end credits has just the animated Carol Burnett with a mop shown in a spotlight. Those were not shown there. Here it is. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fynKMWnzKeY

What a gem!...Lil Janet was destined to be a star lol...I love that they paid tribute to groups who came before them...although there could have been a wider range
