GRREEAAT album! I just discovered this and was amazed at the softness of this group. With this album, they were now crossovers and did a darn good thing with this album! My two favorites were "Somewhere" and "Ol' Man River" (a Melv Franklin solo). But the whole album is amazing! So astounding. I can't believe I didn't know bout this album. Pretty much like the Supremes' "There's A Place for Us" album, but the Temts' were released. (the Bluebelles did a much similar album called "Over the Rainbow" in 1966 with covers like "People" and "Over the Rainbow" , the two best, and was released as well.) Many of these pop standard albums by black groups at this time did wonders for them. The Supremes' "There's A Place for Us" wasn't released until 2004, yet they were already crossed over (although the album wouldn't have hurt! And what a great album it was). It's amazing what these ablums had in them. Since so many people at that time didn't expect great things from them, those albums sure served as a great "boo-yah" to the doubters. "In A Mellow Mood", "There's A Place for Us", and "Over the Rainbow" are my three favorite pop standard albums by anyone.
