We all know that Dennis Edwards could never fill the big shoes that David Ruffin left behind, but when it was time for a change he held his own and took the Temptations to even newer heights.
What was it about this lineup that kept the momentum going and left the fans still wanting more?

What was it about this lineup that kept the momentum going and left the fans still wanting more? It's true, Dennis has a style all his own and that with the original Tempts shone through on the new material. The late sixties and early 70s was the primetime for this line up. With the changes in the world, this new line up laid the perfect soundtrack. Although this may not have been the direction they saw for the group; they not only handled it with grace, they made it work wonderfully, groun-breakingly and awardly :cheerstoyou: Rock on Tempts
