This was Marvin Gaye's first Tamla single release in 1961 after he left the Moonglows. "Never Let You Go" was the B-side to "Let Your Conscience Be Your Guide" (as the mortal words of Jiminy Cricket from "Pinocchio"). WOW! This track sounds great. That's definitely a VERY young Marvin singing. It's Jackie Wilson-esque. Love his scats too.
