You know? Shoot, I hope I don't see it being like $40 or whatever. Better be around $16, lol. But still I think you need to sign up to be a member from a credit card and stuff, lol.

I was starting to wonder if they were running out of new releases! Can't wait for that third installment of unvaulted gems - I see more 'new' music from some of my favourite people!

Stevie has full control of his masters meaning we probably will never get to hear much of it. But I dig that we're hearing a lot of Marvin.

New pre order DVD...Motown - The Collection from Amazon UK ...this one is a 3 disc set but no tracklisting yet It seems to me they are trying to give Reelin In The Years a run for their money. Which is fine with me, just as long there is 'new' footage included. We have all seen the common stuff

Just in case ya didn't know Hear, My Dear
In late 1978, in the wake of his No. 1 smash "Got To Give It Up," Marvin Gaye released Here, My Dear, a sprawling, shocking two-LP set that chronicled of his divorce from Anna Gordy. Though it had no hit singles at the time, Here, My Dear has become recognized as a highly influential masterpiece of romantic anguish.
To honor this great work www.hip-oselect.com is proud to issue the 2CD expanded edition of the album on December 7, 2007 and available for pre-sale now. With the remastered original album at its core, the Here, My Dear - Expanded Edition features a disc's worth of new mixes of all the LP's tracks done old-school style--no overdubs--by select artists and producers, ranging from Prince Paul (De La Soul) to Salaam Remi (Amy Winehouse, Nas). These alternate versions are new visions of the songs, uncovering demo vocals and alternate instrumentation. Go to www.hip-oselect.com for the full list of dedicated contributors.
As shocking as the music was the cover art - a brooding Baroque tableau showing a crumbling courthouse buttressed by the polarized statues of "Love and Marriage" and "Pain and Divorce." Ever aware that the 5x5 of a CD cover could never do this art justice, we at www.hip-oselect.com have made a limited edition, approx. 16" x 30" poster of the artwork. Taken from artist Michael Bryan's original painting, the stunning reproduction is printed in full color on fine acid free, 80# canvas paper, suitable for framing. If you pre-order Marvin Gaye "Here, My Dear - Expanded Edition", we'll send you one of these lovely posters for free, just follow these simple steps:
1. Purchase Marvin Gaye "Here, My Dear - Expanded Edition" at hiposelect.com
2. Be one of the first 50 to email an electronic copy of your receipt for Marvin Gaye "Here, My Dear - Expanded Edition" to hipocrates@hip-oselect.com with the following text in the subject field: MPG POSTER OFFER; and we'll ship you a poster, free of charge. *
*The Marvin Gaye "Here My Dear - Expanded Edition" posters will be shipped only to the first 50 persons whose qualifying emails are received by hipocrates@hip-oselect.com, not necessarily the first 50 persons to send an email or purchase the Marvin Gaye "Here My Dear - Expanded Edition". Offer valid only within the continental U.S. Please allow 3-6 weeks for arrival. Limit one poster per household. Hip-oselect.com will take pre-orders for Marvin Gaye "Here, My Dear - Expanded Edition" starting on 11/20/07. Offer ends when 50 qualifying emails are received by hipocrates@hip-oselect.com. If a poster shipped by Hip-oselect is returned as undeliverable for any reason, Hip-oselect shall have no obligation to re-ship such poster. Offer is void where prohibited. The right to receive this poster is not transferable, assignable, or redeemable for cash.
