Has anybody remembered Billy Eckstine (aka Mr. B)? I have never listened to Billy Eckstine in all my life. In the 40's and 50's, he was with MGM records before he went to Motown in 1965. I have one song called "The Answer Is Love", it was sounded a like a Motown beat, but it was not a standard. He sang standards before Motown came for a short time. The albums Billy made for Motown are "For Love of Ivy", "My Way" and "The Prime of My Life". Those albums by Mr. B are rare, but it's so hard to find. After a few albums, Billy Eckstine left Motown. He died in 1993. As you may know, Billy Eckstine was a crooner.

Thanks ((musicradio))
I knew Mr B recorded at Motown. We are in the process of adding more of the artists that weren't as well known as the popular Motown artists.
Thanks for posting this info :letmecheckthisout:
