Not exactly but I have some information on Flo by way of Al Abrams that I was supposed to post from about a week ago lol Al was the first employee at the company in '59 and later on, became Flo's publicist when she went solo. But the latest news is that a guy by the name of Peter Benjainson is currently writing a biography on Flo and another guy is working on documentary for her. Both of them have contacted Al and he said he is going to be involved with both projects

Great News about THE Supreme! And one of my aunts and distant cousins met Diana Ross in Atlantic City years ago. The story wasn't as interesting as the others but Diana Ross used to use Mary Kay, which my aunt (and most of the ladies in my family) sold at the time. My aunt (who's a fan, the only Diana Ross fan I know personally) said she was really nice and approachable AND that my aunt got up on stage and sang background for her. My aunt does have a nice voice; no Florence, but no Mary (thank goodnesss); so I'm not sure how it sounded. I think cuz was up there too, she has a lot in common with Diana Ross vocally

huh...that's interesting! As Kay had mentioned about a biography and a documentary, it is high time a REAL biography on Florence is written. An entire book about Florence. There should also be an E! True Hollywood Story on Flo. However, we need a word from the Supremes themselves to prove some of these facts. (That would be great if we could get a Supreme up in here!).

((Kay)) as big a Flo fan you are I'm surprised you forgot to mention that at all LOL ... That is something I'm looking forward to already ... ((Honey)) you got me laughing my butt off!! ... (((Ant)) I'm not 100% but I'm sure there has been mention of an E bio on Flo somewhere out in cyberspace these past couple of years ... Not sure what contribution any Supreme could give on this new info because personally Mr Abrams word is enough for me

Well you never know who might want to add their two cents because Mr Abrams did say that the movie Dreamgirls will bring a whole of people out of the woodworks

I just hope each project sees the light of day (fingers crossed) Have any dates been set yet?

Anything Flo-related will shock me right now because it's like you hardly hear about people wanting to do something on her.

Yhea that's true ... All they focus on (as in Supremes) is Diana and sometimes Mary ... they don't worry about the dead one

You're right Ant Most of the time all you here is Diana Ross, Mary less to none, but Flo, gets the due from people who know the real deal, for the most part. You'll get the Diana Ross fans, disguised as Supremes fans, well-known and the regular joe, that pretend or imply she was the Supremes, but for the most part, the retrospectives usually give Florence her due. She's not referred to as the world's favorite Supreme for naught &
