Wow!!! I would love to hear Flo`s version. Flo sang Helen Reddy's version in 1974/1975 at the Henry & Edsel Ford Stadium in Detroit as part of the Joan Little Defense Leage. The audience demanded an encore, so she sang Come See About Me. I'd heard about Come See About Me and now that I think, think I heard about I Am Woman too I'm sure she brought the house down

Yhea she was very good that night. However, according to one of the musicians of Deadly Nightshades (the band who played for Flo), Flo was very nervous and quiet backstage - but of course anyone would be after being absent from a real performance in at least 7 years!
What a brave soul Flo was...

Just imagine how emotional she must have been when she received all that love that she had been missing in her life for nearly a decade!
I can tell you that must have been a part of the reaso she wanted to get her life together and hit music again. Flo never lost that spark that was what made the Supremes what they were!

HER STORY NEEDS TO BE TOLD!!! I'm saying... I can just imagine her being surprised by the attention and being overwhelmed by it.

What a brave soul Flo was... That`s why I knew she would have been a successful solo artist. She had the voice and that unique style. The fans would have definitely promoted her.

Yeah, I could imagine Flo being a success too. Her work was not done, she was taken out too prematurely and way too early.

Oh no doubt about that! I think, however, that Flo had been with Gordy so long and used his advice for so long, she got discouraged when he shut her opportunities down. Apparently, I read in a book by Randall Wilson that Flo had just finished a rough draft of her autobiography when she died...

Flo was the total package which is no secret and all she needed was the right promotion ... ((Ant)) I have a feeling that draft will never surface, which is why I was really hoping that her sister's book would follow through...

After Flo`s death her husband suppose to have had Flo`s autobiography, then after her husband`s death, her book was either put into a vault.

Whomever Tommy Chapman gave the book too most likely destroyed it. I would like to think there is at least one person out there who has it with intention to eventually publish it however, the reality is Motown and the people in charge would have done whatever they felt was necessary to keep a certain reputation. Even if it meant destroying Florence's personal account of everything she experienced.

Sadly, that is true. Motown claims they love Florence, but I think Mary is the only one from Motown who has stayed remotely true to Flo. Gordy and Diane are the obvious ones who could care less about Florence. I also think that Motown might have gotten in the way of Flo's sister's book. They might have had lawers try to mess around with it or something.
But whatever Motown does or says, Flo is probably Motown's number one rival, today and yesterday, since she is Motown's most famous tradgedies...
