As Pebbles used to say back in the day: "To believe or not to believe, that is the question."That question comes as we head into the end of 2007 and hear another "confirmation" by Jermaine Jackson that he, Jackie, Tito, Marlon, Michael and Randy will reunite possibly for a reunion tour next year as reunions by Van Halen, the Police and Led Zeppelin have been confirmed. As we know, few Motown groups have been as iconic as the Jackson 5. They join the list with the Temptations, the Four Tops, the Dells, the Moonglows, the Teenagers and the Isley Brothers as one of the greatest soul male vocal groups of all time and surely one of the groups who successfully went through different genres (funk, disco, rock) to make it at least to the mid-eighties and have its lead singer become arguably the biggest entertainer of all time. Yet, personal problems have led to a lot of misadventures for the family from Gary, Indiana and every time Michael plans on doing something, Jermaine is the first to say that the Jacksons will return. I usually would be one to deny that it would happen and partially Jermaine is one of the reasons I don't feel too confident that it'll come to fore wishing since he is the only one to say the Jacksons would reunite. However, I feel this time he really wants he and his five brothers to prove to people why they matter in the first place. The question I guess I have is do you think a J5 reunion is necessary and if so would you pay your rightfully earned money to see the original kings of pop and princes of Motown at it one more time? I'll holla.

I wouldn`t mind seeing the Jackson Brothers perform if they have a reunion tour. I was always a huge fan of the Jackson Five before MJ`s solo act.

Okay see, the problem right heah for me is the confirmation by Jermaine aka the family PR lol You actually pointed something out that I didn't notice before - about Jermaine talking reunion whenever MJ has a new project - looks like he's being an opportunist imo But out of the groups you mentioned the J5 are the only ones who have all their original members alive and well (can't remember about the Dells) so I think they should go for it, as long as they come to London. I've wanted to see MJ live since I was kid and if he come's I d*mn sure ain't missing him!

The Dells have had the same lineup since 1960.

If I can afford it: $50.00 I hope they don't charge TOO much though.

Coming back to the subject, rumour is that MJ is in talks to play at the O2 arena here in London, but no word about his brothers joining him so I guess we gotta watch this space
