This is a great clip and great info ((Vintage)) :okiagree:
I have seen him speak in person once and had the another chance to but decided against it; he is an amazing man and if anyone gets the chance to see or hear him or read any of his books, they should. Dr. Dyson is an amazing orator and writer and is also a professor :read:

After hearing that interview, I'm convinced Marvin Gaye & Michael Jackson's childhoods were similar just with different religions, upbringings and family numbers. LOL But for real, Marvin had a strange childhood. He practically had to grow up half way because his dad didn't want to teach him the ways of life, just "be like me" or something like that and Marvin was deeply devoted to his mommy.

Something I cant's stand ((timmy 84)) is the resentment Marvin's father had toward him I just don't understand it all. They were like two seperate ends of a magnet. Marvin was just such a beautiful soul with a god given talent, he's father should have been proud of him and not full of so much hate.
