This song was taken from the first of three Motown LP's "The Prime of My Life". Billy Eckstine, better known as Mr. B has been a crooner for decades since he first signed with its newly formed MGM Records back in the late 40's and then went to Mercury and Roulette and then ended up with Motown in 1965. Billy Eckstine released three LP's until he left Motown in 1968 when he his third and final album "For the Love of Ivy". Sadly he passed away in 1993, he was a great crooner rather than Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Perry Como. Here it is from the LP "The Prime of My Life" is "Had You Been Around" by incomparable, Mr. B. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KMRtpaqS1A
