If I can recall, the first time I heard a Motown song... was when I was about 4 or 5 yrs old. My mom loved Motown music & would play it during the day while she cleaned up, mostly it would be the Tempts or Four Tops.
Everytime I hear that Motown Sound: It sounds just like the first time...incredible
Favorite Motown Artists: The Temptations, Four Tops, Martha & the Vandellas and many more.
Favorite Motown Songs: Anything sung by The Temptations from 1964-1971, "Standing in The Shadows of Love" & "Bernadette" by the Four Tops, "Jimmy Mack" by Martha & The Vandellas, "Going To A Go-Go" by the Miracles and many more :myjam:
